Sketches and frames from "The Search of Gold"

I am inspired by the resilience and courage of people who have been forced to flee their homes in search of a better life. My latest illustration captures a man running through the woods with a torch in his hand, symbolizing the determination and hope of refugees and migrants.

This illustration was inspired by the powerful themes explored in The Jungle, a play that portrays the heartbreaking search for homes of migrants living in the Calais refugee camp. The character in my illustration represents the same sense of determination and hope that many migrants feel as they face immense obstacles in their quest for a better life. The torch that he holds can be seen as a symbol of the light of hope that the migrants carry with them as they struggle to overcome the darkness of their situation.

I used a combination of digital and traditional techniques to create this illustration. I started with a pencil sketch, then added colours and details digitally. My goal was to capture the emotion and energy of the character and to create a sense of movement and urgency in the composition.

The Jungle is a production that deeply moved me and inspired me to create this illustration. It is a powerful reminder of the plight of refugees and migrants around the world and of the resilience and courage of people who are forced to leave their homes in search of a better life.

As I created this piece of a man running in the woods and jumping with a torch in his hand, I was reminded of the powerful themes explored in The Jungle, a play that portrays the heartbreaking search for the home of migrants living in the Calais refugee camp.

In this illustration, the character represents the resilience and courage of people who have been forced to flee their homes in search of a better life. Just like the migrants in The Jungle, the character in my illustration is on a journey of discovery, seeking a place where he can belong. The torch that he holds can be seen as a symbol of the light of hope that the migrants carry with them, as they struggle to overcome the darkness of their situation.

Through this illustration, I aimed to capture the sense of determination and hope that many migrants feel, as they face immense obstacles in their quest for a better life. I hope that this piece serves as a powerful visual representation of the themes explored in The Jungle, highlighting the resilience and determination of people who have been forced to flee their homes and seek refuge in a new land.
